Almost all of us will be searching queries on Google, Bing, Yahoo or other search engines on a daily basis. Right?
Will you believe if someone says that you will get paid to search a particular keyword on Google? Does it sound surprising? Maybe.
But many businesses/companies follow the strategy of popularizing a keyword to promote their brand. So, they need a lot of individuals (like you and me :-)) to do that small job. Of course, no one will provide their service for free of cost. And, Microworkers does the job of a middleman by connecting the clients with the users.
In our Microworkers review, let’s explore the different types of mini-jobs that will help you to earn money from Microworkers.
Microworkers Review: Can you really make money by doing small tasks?
Yes, Of course.
Even though the availability of some of the tasks is based on your geographical location, still you can find a lot of opportunities to earn money from Microworkers.

Microworkers is basically a microtasking platform which rewards the users for performing a variety of tasks like sharing a post on Facebook/Twitter, commenting on blogs, subscribing to videos and more. The Client who is requesting your service will provide the step-by-step instructions for completing the micro jobs. And, the pay per task varies based on the type of the task.
How to become a ‘worker’ and start making money from Microworkers?

3.Understanding the Micro Tasks
Now, if you are logging on to Microworkers for the first time, your screen will look like the one below:
Don’t know where to start? No worries 🙂
Before starting working on the Microworkers, let’s try to understand things like job type, job description, client’s instructions and status of the completed jobs.
3.1.Finding the type of the job
There are two types of tasks in Microworkers: Basic and Hire Group(HG)
The functionality of the Basic and HG tasks in Microworkers are the same. However, in Basic tasks, you need to maintain a success rate of above 75%. And, the success rate will increase only if your task gets approved. This places a restriction on the maximum number of basic tasks that can be done in a day/week. For instance, if more than 25% of your tasks are in pending state (not reviewed by the client), then you cannot continue to work on the basic tasks till some of them gets approved.
But, there is no such restriction on the HG tasks as it is independent of the success/failure rate.
3.2. Understanding the Job Description
Before starting working on the jobs, you need to understand the meaning of the various labels as given below.
From this field, you can understand the type of the job. For example, if it contains the keyword Screenshot, then you need to provide the screenshot of the page and submit the same as per the instructions. Engage means you need to stay on the page for the specified time or do other kinds of activities as instructed by the client.
This field indicated the amount that you will get if your task is approved by the client.
Keep an eye on this field because it indicates the total success rate for the job. A low value means many users are not able to complete the job successfully.
Time To Rate. For example, if the value of this field is 5, then it means that the task will be rated by the client within 5 days. Till that, the status of the task
Time To Finish. It indicates the approximate time needed to finish the task. A value of 4 means 4 minutes.
Let’s say the value is 17/20. A total of 20 people are needed for this job and 17 of them already completed the task. Only 3 positions are remaining. After that, the job will be removed from the listing.
3.3. Understanding the Client’s Requirements/Instructions
Every task in Microworkers will be provided with clear instructions on how to complete the job and provide the proof for the same. You need to make sure that you understand the instructions clearly. Otherwise, your task will not be approved by the client and you will not receive the payment for the same.
Let me explain with an example.
Look at the above image where you can find the instructions for a search task. You need to search the given keyword, visit the specified URL and provide the proof for the same.
Step 4 says that you need to stay on the page for at least 1 minute. So, if you don’t follow this instruction and exit the page within 1 minute, then the client may not approve your task.
Likewise, it is mentioned that you should not click on any other listing.
This is just an example of the instructions provided by the client and it varies based on the task.
Go through the instructions fully, before starting the task so that you will not face any issue in the payment.
3.4. Finding the status of the submitted tasks
To know the status of the basic/HG task, click the link ‘Tasks I Finished‘ on the homepage. Then choose the ‘Basic tasks’ or ‘Hire Group’ tasks based on the type of task you had submitted. You will see a screen similar to the one below:
Here, you can find the Job name, payment, time of submission and the status. The status of your task can be any of the options listed below.
A ‘Green Tick’ indicates that your task is approved and will be eligible to receive the payment.
Make sure you follow the above 4 steps for completing any type of task in Microworkers.
4. Making Money – 20 ways to earn money from Microworkers
Totally, you will find 20 categories listed on the homepage of the Microworkers.
I had never come across any website which offers more than 10 ways to earn money. Even, Swagbucks, the #1 money making program in the US provides only 10-15 options to make money using that.
If you are already familiar with the old PTC sites like Neobux, then you can understand very well. Because you need to depend only on the Crowdflower tasks and the surveys for making money. And, surveys will be available only to those in Tier 1 countries like the US, UK, and Canada.
